The registry is a cataloging and record-keeping service only. Any claims of "ownership" or legal rights based on registration with this Service are invalid.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
• By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. User Accounts

• Registered colors, names, descriptions, certificates, and associated metadata may be publicly visible.
• Once published, your content may be indexed by search engines and used by third parties.
• We are not responsible for downstream use of public registry entries.

6. Paid Registrations and Fees

Some features or registrations may require payment.

• All fees are listed at the time of purchase
• Fees are non-refundable, except where required by law
• Prices may change at any time
• We are not responsible for third-party payment processor errors

Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation or removal of a registration.

7. Certificates of Registration

We may issue a digital or physical certificate of registration.

Certificate Disclaimer:

• Certificates are symbolic and informational only
• Certificates do not confer legal ownership, exclusivity, or intellectual property rights
• Certificates may not be used as legal evidence of ownership
• Certificates may not be used to threaten, sue, or mislead others

We reserve the right to revoke or reissue certificates at any time.

8. Commercial Licensing

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all registered colors and names remain available for public use.

If you purchase a commercial license:

• The license applies only within the Official Color Registry platform
• It does not grant exclusive rights outside the Service
• It does not override trademark law
• It does not prevent third parties from using similar or identical colors

We make no guarantees that licensed colors will not be independently created or used elsewhere.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit false or misleading content
• Register offensive, hateful, defamatory, or unlawful names
• Impersonate others
• Scrape, copy, resell, or commercially exploit registry data
• Attempt to bypass security or disrupt the Service
• Use the Service to claim ownership or threaten others

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts at our sole discretion.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, branding, structure, design, and registry format, is owned by Official Color Registry and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service without written permission.

11. No Guarantees of Permanence

We do not guarantee:

• Permanent listing of any color
• Continuous availability of the Service
• Preservation of registry entries or certificates

We may modify or discontinue the Service at any time.

12. DMCA Copyright Infringement Policy

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice.

Your notice must include:

15. Limitation of Liability

• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
